BALTIMORE — Baltimore police say two boys have been charged as juveniles with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a 13-year-old girl.

The Baltimore Sun reported Monday that the unidentified 12-year-old and 13-year-old boys were charged with the death of 13-year-old Monae Turnage, whose body was found under plastic trash bags near her home Sunday night.

Turner was reported missing early Sunday by her family when she did not return after leaving home Saturday night to go skating with friends. Police say her brother found the girl’s body.

An autopsy was planned Monday by the state medical examiner’s office.
