39 students injured in school bus accident in Prince George’s

Thirty-nine students from Barack Obama Elementary School were taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after a rear-end collision involving their school bus on Route 301, fire officials said.

All the students suffered minor injuries, if any, fire officials said. They said a pick up truck rear ended the bus just before Marlboro Pike.

The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening, fire officials said.
