Anne Arundel police seek suspect in break-ins, sex assault

A man who was breaking into unlocked homes in Pasadena made his way into the bedrooms of two different women Thursday morning and sexually assaulted one of them, Anne Arundel Police said.

The first was at just before 3 a.m. in the 7800 block of Centergate Court in Pasadena, according to police. A woman told police she woke up and saw a man in her bedroom, and when she screamed for him to leave, he ran off.

Less then an hour later, as police were searching the area for the intruder, a woman who lives near by called 911 and said she awoke to find a man touching her in a sexual manner. The woman, 56, who lives in the 700 block of 204th Street, went to a neighbor’s house to report the crime.

Investigators believe the two cases are related.

Police remind residents to lock all their doors and windows and turn on exterior lights. They ask anyone with information about these incidents to call 410-222-6145.
