Bomb threat causes evacuation of Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge

Students at Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge were evacuated Thursday morning because of a bomb threat, according to school officials. Students have since returned to classes after the threat was cleared.

Students were led away from the building to the football stadium while police investigated a written threat. Gar-Field has nearly 2,600 students.

There was no confirmed indication of danger, according to Prince William County schools spokeswoman Irene Cromer.
