The incident occurred about 1 p.m. at a store in the 6300 block of Allentown Road. Mark Brady, a Fire/EMS Department spokesman, said in a news release that a building inspector was called to the scene and county police were investigating the crash.

Officer Edward Martin, a Prince George’s County police spokesman, said police believe the case to be one of simple “driver error.” The driver was a woman in her 60s. Police do not believe she suffered a medical emergency or had been drinking. She declined to be taken to the hospital, Martin said
