D.C. man charged with homicide in toddler’s death

A D.C. man has been arrested in the death of a 20-month-old boy, police said Monday.

Jonathan T. Fullard, 28, of Southeast Washington, has

been charged with first-degree murder and is accused of killing Keyontae Osbia Moore.

On March 5, shortly before 6 a.m., police were called to United Medical Center, where Keyontae was in critical condition. The toddler had been brought to the hospital in a private vehicle from the 3000 block of 30th St. SE.

Keyontae was taken to Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy determined the cause of death was “blunt-impact trauma,” police said.

No additional details about the incident that led to the boy’s death have been released.

Fullard was arrested about 11 a.m. Monday and has been charged with first-degree murder.

Police did not disclose Fullard’s relationship to Moore.
