D.C. man dead in Saturday stabbing; 3 others shot Sunday

A Southeast Washington man was killed Saturday night in a stabbing.

D.C. police found Kevin Blackwell Jr., 20, suffering from a stab wound shortly after 10:30 p.m., in the 900 block of Burns Street SE, in the Benning Ridge neighborhood. He later died of his injuries.

Three men were also shot in separate incidents early Sunday morning.

A man was shot in the foot on Anacostia Road NE near Minnesota Avenue about 4 a.m. About an hour later, another man was shot on the 5400 block of Foote Street NE, near Woodson High School; he is in stable condition, a police spokesman said. And a man was shot in the leg shortly before 7 a.m. near Fifth and Oakwood streets SE, in the Congress Heights neighborhood.
