D.C. police identify man in death investigation

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found late Wednesday night in Northeast D.C.

The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Aaron Timothy Henderson, police said.

He was found about 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1000 block of 16th Street NE with apparent trauma to the head, police said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of Henderson’s death has not been determined, and police have not classified the incident as a homicide.
