Fatal crash in Maryland leaves at least one dead

A early morning crash on Route 75 in Frederick County left one person dead, Maryland State Police reported.

According to investigators, a tractor trailer headed north on Route 75 crossed the road’s center line, hitting a pickup truck headed in the other direction. The pickup truck’s driver, Michael F. Fink, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fink, 46, was from Frederick, police said. The driver of the tractor trailer was unhurt.

Police say they continue to investigate the incident and are preparing charges against the tractor-trailer’s driver. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-600-4151.
