Fire victim identified as Fairfax man

A 62-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a Falls Church fire last week, officials said.

Christopher Lewis was found dead Oct. 29. in his house in the 6600 block of Orland Street, according to the Fairfax County Fire Department. The medical examiner has not determined a cause of death, and fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.

Lewis was found about 4 a.m. in his single-family home, which was engulfed in flames.

Officials said there were “hoarding conditions” inside the home. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.
