One firefighter was injured battling a Wednesday morning blaze at a Suitland apartment complex, authorities said.

It took a team of 90 firefighters and medics 45 minutes to get the fire at the Andrews Ridge complex in the 5600 block of Regency Park Court under control, according to Mark Brady, a Prince George’s Fire Department spokesman.

The extent of the firefighter’s injuries was not immediately clear. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fire and the financial losses sustained.

No other injuries were reported. Several families were displaced by the fire, authorities said.
