Firefighters injured in blaze in PG

A firefighter was injured Tuesday night in a blaze at a house in Prince George’s County, officials said.

The fire broke out about 8 p.m. in a house in the 7000 block of Fairwood Road in the Landover Hills area. Fire was reported on the first floor and in the basement.

Mark Brady, the fire department spokesman, said the firefighter was being treated at the scene for exhaustion and smoke inhalation. Brady said it appeared that he would not require hospital treatment.

The cause of the fire could not be learned immediately.
