Seven hurt after they were hit by car in Md. parking lot

Seven people were hurt after they were hit struck by a car in a Home Depot parking lot, authorities said.

At least two sustained life-threatening injuries after they were hit in the parking lot on East-West Highway in Hyattsville, according to Prince George’s County Fire and Rescue authorities.

Witnesses told paramedics a car entered the parking lot, striking a group of males standing together, according to department spokesman Mark Brady.

Of the other five people, two had serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to Brady, and the rest suffered minor injuries.

More details were not immediately available.
