Girl, 17, dies from injuries suffered in Anne Arundel crash

A 17-year-old Pasadena girl died from injuries sustained when she was hit by a car in Severna Park in Anne Arundel County earlier this week, police said Friday.

Two pedestrians crossing Governor Ritchie Highway outside a crosswalk were hit by a car around 8:43 p.m. Tuesday, Anne Arundel police said.

They were flown to a hospital, where one — Kara Richelle Micciche, of the 8100 block of Old Mill Road — later died, according to police. The second pedestrian is in critical, but stable, condition.

A police investigation continues. No charges have yet been filed in the case, according to police.
