Hanover man dies in Monday morning crash

A Hanover man died early Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash, police said.

Officers responding to Corporate Center Drive near Old Stoney Run Way in Hanover at about 1:07 a.m. found a 2011 GMC SUV on fire and impaled by the guardrail, according to the Anne Arundel County Police.

Investigators believe Vernon Bryant, 41, was driving northwest on Corporate Center Drive when he failed to negotiate a turn, left the road and struck a guardrail.

Authorities continue to investigate. Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene.
