Hotel in Arlington robbed at gunpoint

A Days Inn in Arlington was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night by a man who wore a dark-colored scarf covering his face, police said.

It happened about 6:35 p.m. at the hotel in the 2200 block of North Arlington Boulevard. A man walked into the lobby, showed a gun and told the front desk clerk and a guest to get on the ground, according to Arlington police.

He then stole cash from the register and ran off, police said.
