Juvenile wounded in shooting

A juvenile male was shot and seriously wounded Thursday night in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.

The shooting happened in the 100 block of Uhland Terrace about 9:15, said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman. The victim, whose age could not be immediately determined, was taken to a hospital with potentially life threatening wounds.

No further details could be immediately learned
