Kensignton woman identified as victim of fatal crash

Authorities released the name Wednesdayof a Kensington woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 early Tuesday, Virginia State Police said.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes when Ellen S. Linder, 65, drove her 2007 Kia Sedona into the back of a flatbed truck, which was stalled in traffic near the Fairfax County Parkway exit, officials said. Linder died at the scene.

The truck driver was not injured or identified. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
