Loudoun authorities seek help identifying suspected bank robber

Surveillance images of the suspect in an armed bank robbery that occurred Tuesday at the BB&T bank in the 20900 block of Davenport Drive in the CountrySide community have been released by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The man entered the bank around 9:45 a.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect used an umbrella and a Halloween mask of an elderly man to hide his identity, according to authorities.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Investigator M. McCaffrey at 703-777-0475. Those callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919.
