Lusby man, woman killed in Monday night crash in St. Mary’s

A Lusby man and woman were killed in a Monday night crash after his motorcycle hit a Jeep, authorities said.

Michael Allan Heller, 37, was driving south on Route 4 near Kingston Creek Road at about 11:10 p.m., according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. As Heller approached the Jeep, he hit the brakes, police said, but still hit the Jeep from behind.

Heller and his passenger, Holly Hope Fullwood, 32, were ejected from the motorcycle, police said; he died at the scene and she died at a hospital. The Jeep’s driver and a passenger, along with the driver of a car that swerved to avoid the motorcycle and hit the Jeep, were treated and released from area hospitals.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-475-4200, extension 9115.
