The Fort Washington man arrested in connection with two home invasions and one sexual assault in Montgomery County is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Kevin Darnell Ray, 33, has been held without bond since Saturday, when he was arrested in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

Police said Ray robbed two homes, one in Wheaton on Jan. 10 and a second in Bethesda on Jan. 11.

In the Bethesda robbery, Ray allegedly tied up three occupants of the home and sexually assaulted a housekeeper.

Ray has been charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm during a felony, first- and third-degree sexual offense and first-degree assault.

He will appear in Montgomery County Circuit Court in Rockville.
