Officers responded to the emergency room at Anne Arundel Medical Center about 3:16 a.m. Dec. 24, according to police, where they met with the shooting victim and his female friend.
The man told police he was at a party at a Crownsville home, went outside and head a “bang,” according to authorities. They left the party, and then the man began experiencing discomfort in his back.
The man told police that he and his friend then went to the hospital, where he was treated for wounds that were not life-threatening.
Investigators later determined that Joseph R. Clark, 28, of Crownsville was a suspect, and issued a warrant for his arrest on attempted second-degree murder and other offenses.
About 1 p.m. Thursday, police said, Clark turned himself in.
