Man dies in Va. motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist died after he was involved in a head-on collision with a car in Spotsylvania County on Saturday night, police said.

Virginia State Police said Timothy S. Waaga, 39, of Long Beach, Miss., was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route 620 at about 10:20 p.m. when he crossed over the double, solid center line and struck a 2012 Ford Focus head-on. Waaga was transported to Mary Washington Hospital, where he died later Saturday night. Waaga was wearing a helmet.

Virginia State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
