A man was shot and killed inside a house in the Capitol Heights area of Prince George’s County Saturday afternoon, and police believe the shooter was a person he knew.

The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. in the 700 block of Glacier Avenue, authorities said. Cpl. Larry Johnson, a Prince George’s County police spokesman, said officers were called for a shooting and arrived to find a man dead inside the home.

Johnson said homicide detectives are still searching for a suspect, but they believe the victim knew his killer. He said that detectives believe the victim and the person suspected of killing him had an argument that precipitated the shooting.
