Man fatally shot in Southeast

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Friday night in Southeast Washington, and police are searching for suspects and a motive in the case.

The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of 13th Street SE and Good Hope Road SE. Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman, said police were first called for a report of gunfire, and arrived to find Dwayne Antonio Bryant suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Bryant, 22, who lived in Southeast, was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, Alali said
