Man found fatally shot in Southeast D.C. alley

D.C. police are investigating an apparent homicide after a man was found fatally shot in Southeast Washington early Friday morning.

The man’s body was found in an alleyway off Park Place SE, between White Place and 23rd Street, around 1 a.m., after residents of the neighborhood called police.

Police said the man, who has not been identified, had been shot to death.

There is no suspect information available, and the shooting remains under investigation.
