Man killed in Northwest D.C., police say

D.C. police are investigating the killing of a man in the 2600 block of University Place near Meridian Hill Park in Northwest D.C., a spokesman said.

Officers found a man suffering from possible gunshot wounds around 1:45 a.m., a police spokesman said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

NBC 4 is reporting two suspects were arrested in connection with the slaying after a short chase near the scene. The report said weapons were also found.
