Man stabbed in SE D.C. during possible domestic dispute

A man suffered serious stab wounds Wednesday afternoon during a possible domestic dispute in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.

Police responded to the 700 block of 12th Street SE about 4:20 p.m. and found the victim, said Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman. The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition. He was expected to survive his injuries.

Police were investigating the possiblity that the stabbing happened during a domestic argument, Carew said.
