Man’s body found in home, brother taken into custody

Prince George’s County police have ruled the death of a man found in a home in the 3800 block of Walters Lane in Forrestville as a homicide.

Police spokesman Mike Rodriguez said officers were called to check on the welfare of the man around 9 a.m. Saturday. When police entered the home, they found the man unresponsive, with trauma to his body. Rodriguez would not comment on the type of trauma.

The man, whose name was not released, was later declared dead in the home.

Rodriguez said police have taken the man’s brother into custody but he has not been arrested.

“We do believe that is is domestic related between the victim and the brother,” Rodriguez said.
