Man’s body found in Potomac River

Two recreational boaters found a man’s body in the Potomac River on Monday, Fairfax County police said.

The unidentified body was discovered shortly after 9 a.m. by the boaters, who summoned police to the Belle Haven Marina in the 6400 block of George Washington Parkway.

Police said the cause of the man’s death was not clear and that an autopsy will be conducted.
