Murder charge for Grant Johnson in deadly D.C. shooting

A Bladensburg man has been charged with murder in a May shooting in Southeast D.C.

Police said officers responding to the 800 block of Burns Street about 6:53 a.m. on May 31 found Ricardo Mandrell Lancaster, 32, of Fort Washington, behind the wheel of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

On Wednesday, police said, authorities arrested Grant Johnson, 37, and charged him with first-degree murder.
