Authorities have charged a 20-year-old Baltimore man with first-degree murder in the death of a Coppin State University nursing student last month.

Baltimore police said Thursday that Syron Abdullah has been charged in the death of 18-year-old Jhoma Blackwell.

Police say the nursing student was stabbed repeatedly at a home on Huntingdon Avenue in north Baltimore on March 29.

Authorities say Abdullah was an acquaintance of Blackwell and that the two had gotten into an argument at the home.
