No sign of foul play in rest stop death: police

Virginia State Police say there are no apparent signs of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found at a rest stop off Interstate 66 in Manassas.

Police say they were called rest area about 2 p.m. Wednesday for the report of a body on the grounds, and found the man’s body inside a parked vehicle. Officials say the body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

State police say they also seized the out-of-state vehicle.

Police had closed the area to investigate.
