CHARLOTTESVILLE — As opening statements begin in the U.Va. lacrosse players murder case, the jury is expected to hear the most detailed interpretations yet regarding what happened the night that George W. Huguely V and Yeardley Love fought in her apartment.

Huguely is standing trial in Love’s 2010 death. A jury was chosen Wednesday morning.

Huguely, 24, of Chevy Chase, is accused of first-degree murder and five other charges in the 2010 death of Love, his ex-girlfriend, in her off-campus apartment. Huguely pleaded not guilty Monday on all counts.
