Police investigate sexual assault in Northeast D.C.

D.C. police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Northeast Washington.

The attack happened around 11 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Taylor Street NE.

The victim told investigators that she was approached from behind by a man, police said. The suspect allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a medium complexion, 22 to 26 years old, 5’9” tall, 180 pounds, short hair, clean shaven and wearing a white t-shirt.
