Police: One killed in crash after Md. robbery

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County police say a man was killed and four other people were injured in a car accident following a robbery in Cockeysville.

Police say the driver, as 20-year-old Aaron McCoy Jr. of Baltimore, was killed in the crash Tuesday afternoon on Dulaney Valley Road.

Police say they responded to a burglary in the 3200 block of Vance Road, and received a report that the suspects might be driving a gray Honda Accord. Authorities saw a vehicle matching that description and attempted to pull it over, but it did not comply. Aviation officers then began following the car.

Police say a passenger bailed from the car and was taken him into custody.

Minutes later, police say the Honda collided with two other vehicles and crashed into a telephone pole.
