RUCKERSVILLE, Va. — Police in Virginia are evaluating a 5-year old boy who allegedly stabbed three people with an “edged object.”

Media reports said the three injured during the attack Monday were treated for wounds not considered life-threatening at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. The injured were two juveniles and an adult.

WCAV-TV in Charlottesville reported that the violence stemmed from a dispute over a juice box.

The incident was under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. Messages left by The Associated Press for Sheriff Steve Smith were not immediately returned Tuesday.

A neighbor described the child as a “happy go lucky little dude.”

Ruckersville is located in central Virginia about 20 miles northeast of Charlottesville.
