Two Prince William County men wanted for stashing four pounds of narcotics have been arrested, police said Tuesday.
Charles O. Deeds Jr., 60, and Daniel Matthew Deeds, 34, both of the 11700 block of Lakeway Drive, were arrested June 13 and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Charles Deeds Jr. was also charged with possession of a firearm with narcotics and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
On June 10, Prince William police arrested Charles O. Deeds III, 35, of the 11700 block of Lakeway Drive. Police said he was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm with narcotics and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Police originally went to the Lakeway Drive house to execute a search warrant for stolen property, according to Officer Jonathan L. Perok, a county police spokesman. Once there, they discovered four pounds of marijuana; cocaine; heroin; multiple firearms, including rifles and handguns; and cash, police said.
The marijuana was found in Charles Deeds III’s bedroom and an adjoining room, according to court papers. He admitted that the items were his and that he had been selling marijuana, court papers said.
Police would not provide details about the relationships between the men.
Charles Deeds III is being held without bond. His court date was set for July 27. Bond information and courts dates for Charles O. Deeds Jr. and Daniel Deeds is not available, police said.
