Prince William man charged in sexual assault of 3-year-old at day care

Police said Wednesday that a Prince William County man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 3-year-old Manassas girl at a home day care in Woodbridge.

Dayquan M. Miller, 18, lives at the licensed day care, a private residence in the 13100 block of Quade Lane. Prince William police charged Miller with two counts of forcible sodomy and one count of aggravated sexual battery.

Police are investigating whether Miller was an employee of the day care, said Officer Jonathan Perok, a police department spokesman.

The state Department of Social Services office in Warrenton has jurisdiction over day-care licenses in Northern Virginia. That office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The day care is on a Web site,, that provides listings of day-care sites. A woman who answered the phone there Wednesday declined comment.

Social services records show minor violations at the facility over the past few years — from the wrong temperature in the refrigerator to pillows in cribs.

Miller is being held without bond, and a court date has not been scheduled.
