Secret Service officer Hector Cuellar, accused of sexual assault, indicted on charges

A Secret Service officer was indicted last week in Prince William County on charges that he sexually assaulted a teenage family member, according to court records.

Hector Reynaldo Cuellar, 51, of the 2900 block of Wetherburn Court in Woodbridge was indicted on three counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child by a custodian.

A Secret Service spokesman has said that Cuellar has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.

Christopher Feldmann, his attorney, couldn’t be reached immediately for comment on Tuesday.

Court records say that Cuellar has complied with orders not to contact certain family members, while continuing to provide financial support to his family. He also cannot have contact with anyone under age 18, among other conditions.

A hearing has been scheduled for March 21.
