Suspect sought in sexual assault in Northwest D.C.

D.C. police have released surveillance footage of a suspect in connection with a sexual assault in Northwest Washington last week.

Police said a person of interest was captured on video walking around the corner from 14th Street onto the 1400 block of Florida Avenue NW, where the assault took place around 2 a.m. on Jan. 20.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his mid-20s to early 30s with clean shaven olive-colored skin, about 5’10” tall and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and dark thick brown eyebrows.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved, button-up, red and white flannel shirt with a white undershirt, dark-colored pants, and red shoes.
