Swim coach accused of sexual contact with Fairfax teen

A local swim coach has been charged with allegedly having sexual contact with an underage female student at James Madison High School 10 years ago.

Noah Rucker, 39, of Bristow, was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a minor while in a custodial and/or supervisory position, police said.

The victim, who filed a report with Fairfax County Police last Wednesday, was 17 years old when the incidents allegedly occurred in 2001.

Rucker was 29 and employed by the Fairfax school as a swim coach at the time, police said.

Police said that Rucker continued to coach swimmers throughout the region following the alleged incidents in 2001.
