Three arrested in Pr. George’s slaying

Prince George’s County police homicide detectives have arrested three men in connection with the fatal shooting of a Bowie man at a house party in Glenn Dale early Sunday morning.

Alusine Kanu, 22; Ransford Caulker, 25; and Tanseh John Nicholas, 25, were charged in connection with the slaying of Oluseun A. Fashina, 23, authorities said. Kanu, of Alexandria, and Nicholas, of Herndon, were charged with murder and other counts, and Caulkner, of Bowie, was charged with being an accessory after the fact, online court records show.

The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. in the 10800 block of Glenshire Drive, authorities said.

Police said in a news release that an altercation between the victim and the suspects men sparked the shooting.

According to police charging documents, Nicholas fired a handgun inside the house, then passed the weapon to Kanu, who shot Fashina in the back. A witness identified them both in a photo lineup, according to the documents.
Caulker, according to police charging documents, drove the vehicle that the three men fled in and was identified by multiple witnesses.
