Three men were shot late Friday, in two separate incidents, one in Southwest Washington and one in Southeast, police said.
Two men in their late teens or early 20s were hit about 10:30 p.m. near First Street and Mississippi Avenue SE in the Washington Highlands/Congress Heights section. One was hit in an arm, and the other in a shoulder.
In the second incident, which occurred about 30 minutes later, a man was shot near M Street and Howison Place SW. His wounds were in the stomach, leg and groin area, police said.
No information was available immediately about what led to any of the shootings.
