Two children, one adult, critically injured in Prince George’s fire

Two children and an adult suffered critical injuries Wednesday during a house fire in the Chapel Oaks area, Prince George’s County fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to a blaze at a duplex in the 6300 block of Carrington Court and found fire on both floors at about 5 p.m., said Mark Brady, a fire department spokesman. Two children and one adult were taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.

Authorities were investigating the cause of the fire and no further details were immediately available.
