Prince William County police have arrested two men in connection with a Tuesday shooting at a townhouse community in Woodbridge.

The men were identified by police as Theo Victor Claridge, 21, of the 1900 block of Brooke Farm Court in Woodbridge, and Trevon Antonio Tucker, 22, of the 1800 block of Heather Glen Court, also in Woodbridge.

Claridge allegedly fired the gun, according to police, striking a 20-year-old man in the chest and a 26-year-old man in the leg when he shot from his car toward a townhouse in the 15000 block of Wentwood Lane, the home of the older victim. The men were flown to a hospital and are expected to survive.

Claridge and Tucker followed the victims to the Wentwood Lane home after a run-in at Woodbridge’s Build America Shopping Center, according to police. The victims had an unspecified long-running dispute with their attackers, police said. Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesman, declined to comment further on the dispute.

Claridge is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony, one count of shooting from an occupied vehicle and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Tucker is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding. Perok said that because Tucker, who did not fire any shots, knew the crime was going to take place and helped make it happen, he can be charged with its consequences.

The men are being held without bond and are scheduled to be in court Oct. 18.
