Two men shot in two hours overnight in Prince George’s

Police in Prince George’s County are investigating two shootings that occurred within as many hours of each other overnight.

At about 11:56 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 3200 block of Curtis Drive in Temple Hills, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Nearly two hours later, at about 1:55 a.m. Thursday, police responded to the 6000 block of Princess Garden Parkway in Lanham, where a man had reportedly been shot. The man was admitted to a local hospital and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The shootings took place hours after Prince George’s police reported that crime in the county had significantly dropped this summer.

Both shootings are under investigation. Police did not release information about possible motives or suspects in either incident.
