Woman, 26, killed in D.C.: Police

A 26-year-old Southeast D.C. woman has died after a Wednesday shooting police are calling a homicide.

D.C. police said about 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday units from the Seventh District went to the area of in the 3300 block of 15th Street Southeast.

Officers found Ebony Denise Mack unconscious and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. She was taken to an area hospital, where she later died.
