Woman dead, another sought after Sunday Odenton crash

An Annapolis woman died in a Sunday evening collision in Odenton, police said, and authorities are still searching for a driver they said fled the scene.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police, officers responded to the 1100 block of Annapolis Road at about 8:18 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Witnesses told police the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado, described only as a white female with brown hair wearing jeans and a pink tank top, fled on foot. The driver of the other vehicle, a Lexus, was taken to a hospital, where she died.

Authorities identified the Lexus driver as Tori Danielle Stitely, 27. Investigators believe she pulled out in front of the Chevrolet, causing the collision.

Police said they had leads regarding the identity of the Chevrolet’s driver but would not identify her. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-222-8573.
