Woman found dead in Temple Hills apartment

A woman’s body was found Wednesday inside a Temple Hills apartment and police are investigating the death as a homicide, Prince George’s County police said.

Police received a call to check on an unresponsive female in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue about 2:40 p.m, said Officer Iris Borrero, a spokeswoman. Officers found the woman, who was not identified, dead in the apartment.

Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Officials declined to say whether there was any trauma to the body or the motive in the case.
